Spectra and Graph Comparison
We give some inequalities relating the number of edges that two graphs of the same order may have in common with their degree sequences and their spectra. We then give some examples and related inequalities, and present applications to independence number and coloration.
متن کاملon spectra of unitary cayley mixed graph
in this paper we introduce mixed unitary cayley graph $m_{n}$ $(n>1)$ and compute its eigenvalues. we also compute the energy of $m_{n}$ for some $n$.
متن کاملBasic subgraphs and graph spectra
Every symmetric matrix has an invertible principal submatrix whose rank is equal to that of the whole matrix. We explore some of the implications of this result for graph spectra. U sing the same symbol for a graph and its adjacency matrix, we say that a graph G is A-invertible if G AI is invertible, and the A-rank of G is the rank of G AI. A A-basic subgraph of G is an induced A-invertible sub...
متن کاملSpectra of Some New Graph Operations and Some New Class of Integral Graphs
In this paper, we define duplication corona, duplication neighborhood corona and duplication edge corona of two graphs. We compute their adjacency spectrum, Laplacian spectrum and signless Laplacian. As an application, our results enable us to construct infinitely many pairs of cospectral graphs and also integral graphs.
متن کاملDescriptive Complexity of Graph Spectra
Two graphs are co-spectral if their respective adjacency matrices have the same multi-set of eigenvalues. A graph is said to be determined by its spectrum if all graphs that are co-spectral with it are isomorphic to it. We consider these properties in relation to logical definability. We show that any pair of graphs that are elementarily equivalent with respect to the three-variable counting fi...
